SAMAHA WEEKLY SUBSCRIPTION TERMS & CONDITIONS

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By purchasing a SAMAHA Weekly subscription, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Please read them carefully before subscribing.

SUBSCRIPTION COMMITMENT

All subscriptions require an 8-week minimum commitment from your enrollment date.

Your subscription begins on the Thursday following your purchase and continuesweekly until you cancel.

WEEKLY BILLING

Your payment method will be charged automatically each week for the following week's box. Billing occurs on the same day each week (the day you enrolled). If your payment fails, you will be notified via email and given 48 hours to update your payment information. If payment is not received within 48 hours, your subscription will be paused and your spot may be released to the waitlist.

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

SAMAHA Weekly does not operate on major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. You will not be charged for weeks when no pickup is available.

Holiday dates will be communicated at enrollment and via email reminders.

PICKUP REQUIREMENTS

All boxes must be picked up during the designated window: Thursdays 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM at SAMAHA Kitchen, 2748 N. Garfield Road Suite 13, Traverse City.

Boxes not claimed by Friday 12:00 PM will be forfeited and donated to local food assistance programs.

No refunds, credits, or replacements will be issued for missed pickups.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You may cancel your subscription after completing the 8-week minimum commitment by providing 2 weeks' advance notice via email to samahabakerytc@gmail.com.

Cancellation requests received with less than 2 weeks' notice will be charged for the next scheduled delivery.

REFUND POLICY

All payments are final. No refunds will be issued for:

  • Cancellations during the 8-week minimum commitment period

  • Missed pickups

  • Dissatisfaction with curated flavor selections

  • Unused portions of subscription

  • Changes in dietary preferences or restrictions

CONTENT & CURATION

All product selections (bread varieties, baklava flavors, scone varieties, bagel types) are curated weekly by SAMAHA Bakery at our sole discretion.

Substitutions, special requests, and flavor preferences cannot be accommodated. The element of surprise and trust in our curation is integral to this program.

If you have dietary restrictions that prevent you from consuming any of our standard offerings, this subscription may not be appropriate for you.

ALLERGEN INFORMATION

All SAMAHA products contain wheat. Most contain dairy, eggs, and/or tree nuts.

All products are made in a facility that processes: wheat, dairy, eggs, tree nuts (walnuts, pecans, pistachios, almonds), and soy.

We cannot guarantee allergen-free products or prevent cross-contamination.

If you have severe allergies or anaphylactic reactions to any of these allergens, this subscription is not appropriate for you.

PRODUCT QUALITY & STORAGE

SAMAHA Bakery is committed to the highest quality standards. However:

  • Bread is best consumed within 5 days or frozen immediately

  • Baklava stores at room temperature up to 7 days in provided container. Freeze immediately for later consumption. Do not refrigerate.

  • Scones and bagels are best within 3 days or frozen immediately

Improper storage after pickup may affect product quality. We are not responsible for quality issues resulting from improper storage.

SUBSCRIPTION MODIFICATIONS

Subscribers may not:

  • Transfer their subscription to another person

  • Change tiers mid-commitment period (may upgrade/downgrade after 8 weeks)

  • Request makeup boxes for missed pickups

  • Pause subscriptions (must cancel and re-enroll)

SAMAHA BAKERY MODIFICATIONS

SAMAHA Bakery reserves the right to:

  • Modify subscription box contents with reasonable notice

  • Adjust pricing for new subscribers (existing subscribers' rates protected during commitment)

  • Change pickup procedures, times, or locations with 2 weeks' notice

  • Add pickup partner locations

  • Pause or discontinue the program with 4 weeks' notice and prorated refunds for unused weeks

GIFT SUBSCRIPTIONS

Gift subscriptions follow the same terms as regular subscriptions. The purchaser is responsible for all payments during the commitment period. Recipients cannot cancel gift subscriptions during the minimum commitment period.

CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS

Subscription requires creation of a customer account at samahabakery.com. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Customers can log in anytime to view upcoming orders, payment history, and manage subscriptions.

COMMUNICATION

By subscribing, you agree to receive:

  • Weekly pickup reminder emails

  • Subscription management emails

  • Holiday schedule notifications

  • Occasional updates about SAMAHA products and offerings

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails but will continue to receive transactional emails related to your active subscription.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

SAMAHA Bakery's liability is limited to the amount paid for your subscription.

We are not liable for:

  • Food allergies or adverse reactions

  • Storage issues after pickup

  • Dissatisfaction with product selection

  • Missed pickups due to subscriber error

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes will be resolved in Grand Traverse County, Michigan.

CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these terms periodically. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the subscription service after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.
